1.  How do we get started?

Mobile website development begins by selecting which pages you want to display on your mobile website. Because mobile devices have small screens, scaling down the information you provide on mobile devices helps users find the information they need more quickly. In the next step of mobile web development, our web developers build out the mobile website based on the pages you have selected.

2.   How do I get a mobile website?

We offer professional, attractive mobile web design combined with dynamic and user-friendly mobile web development. Importantly, we work with you to determine the pages you wish to display on your mobile website, and to decide on the color and theme of the mobile website so that it reflects your brand and your main website. Once the site map and theme have been determined, our expert web developers build out your mobile website and set it up so that mobile users are automatically redirected to the mobile version. This process typically takes one week or less. Once the mobile web development is completed, every time your main website is updated, your mobile website will be updated as well. It's as easy as that!

3.   How do I choose the best mobile web design company for my needs?

When choosing the best mobile web design company, it is important to take into account a number of factors:
• First, do their mobile designs look professional and modern? If you're going to optimize your site for mobile, you want to do so with a company that can provide you with a cutting-edge mobile design that will make you stand out from the competition. See our gallery of premier mobile websites for a sense of what high-end mobile website design looks like.
• Second, is their mobile web development dynamic or static? That is, when you update your main site, will your mobile website update as well? Some companies provide static mobile websites--in the long-run, a static mobile website will end up costing you more as you pay to make any updates to your mobile website. A great advantage of our mobile websites are that that they automatically sync with your main website so that anytime you change information on your main website, the corresponding page on the mobile site will be updated as well. This adds up to great savings over time!

When taking these factors into account, TNT Mobile Websites are the clear choice!

4.   Will my mobile website look like my main website?

Yes, unless you don’t want it to then the answer would be no. We use your existing branding to create a unique mobile website for you. Many other providers throw your site into a template but our system is flexible enough to handle a custom mobile site that matches your brand.

5.   Will I have to update my mobile website separately from my main website?

No, when you make updates to your website, the updates will appear on your mobile website too.
The mobile sites we develop are built on a revolutionary, cutting edge framework built to meet today's demands, keeping your site and your business from ever becoming obsolete!
This saves you time and money and gives your customers the most up-to-date experience possible!

6.    What's the cost for a mobile website?

There are several cost factors that come into play when building a custom mobile site. Most of which require a brief conversation and your input. However, most of our customers have paid around $500 for their mobile site. This includes building your mobile site, initial site population with your content (company information, menus, photo gallery, etc.). Call us today and we can give you a mobile site quote over the phone.

7.   I don’t think my customers are mobile. Isn’t this just a high tech "toy"         mostly for teenagers?

Absolutely Not! More than 85% of Americans have a mobile device, and more than 65% of them are adults - many are even over the age of 65! These are YOUR customers and the numbers are only going to grow exponentially. Just look around... everywhere you look everyone has their eyes down in their mobile phones. Shouldn't you cater to them and capture their business with an easy to read mobile website?

8.   What if my audience is desktop only? Then there’s no reason to have a mobile site, right?

Not exactly. Statistics show that more people are going “mobile only” -- either because they never had a desktop or because they won’t replace their existing desktop. Additionally, a non-mobile-friendly site may not see many mobile visitors precisely for that reason.
The mobile-friendly update will apply to mobile searches conducted across all sites, regardless of the site’s target audiences’ language, region, or proportion of mobile to desktop traffic.

9. How can I see what my current website looks like on a smartphone?

The easiest way it to go to your website on your phone right now, but what really matters is how Google sees your current website on a smart phone. Email, call, or fill out a form that you would like to see how Google sees your current site and we’ll email you a screen shot.

10.   I don’t have a budget for a mobile website... How expensive are these? Wouldn't it be a good idea to  wait?

You would be surprised how inexpensive and cost effective a new mobile website can be for your business. Most businesses only need our fewest page custom site so we won't "break the bank". Every site is different in terms of graphics, text, sliders and other complex elements, so without looking into each site to determine how much hand-editing will be required, it is impossible to quote an exact price up front but we are certain you will be pleasantly surprised on the cost.
If you can afford to wait, more power to you. But consider that more and more consumers are searching for your business using their smartphones versus a computer. While you wait, your competitors who have already mobilized their websites are capturing the mobile customers you are losing. It’s not how much a mobile website will cost you, its how much your new mobile site will make you. How much business are you already losing and willing to lose by not having one? Can you really afford to wait? Would you be ok with closing your business down one day per week? That is the closest conservative equivalent of how a mobile website (or lack thereof) is impacting your digital marketing

11.   Can I pay hosting monthly?

Our hosting costs only 8 bucks per month. If we were to provide monthly billing, the additional costs associated with those bills would force us to raise our rates. Instead, we offer a convenient annual payment and guarantee a refund for unused time if you ever decide to cancel or move services.

12.    How long will it take to get my mobile site up and running?

Depending on our current queue of clients waiting for their own new mobile websites, turnaround time is usually as little as 1-2 weeks.

13.    My website was designed by another company. Can TNT Mobile still develop a mobile website for me?

Yes, we can take any website mobile.

14. What is the difference between a Mobile Website and a Mobile Application?

A mobile website is a site designed to be viewed on a mobile device or smartphone. It takes your existing website which was designed only to be viewed on a PC and converts it to an easily readable version with large call-to-action buttons and text that is easily read by only scrolling up and down with your finger. It is a site that is meant to be found easily from internet searches. A mobile-optimized website is the most affordable and easy to manage solution for most local small and mid-sized businesses. Mobile sites increase your visibility and don't require your customers to download a piece of software to their phone.
A Mobile Application is software that is downloaded to your mobile device and is meant for businesses that will have repeat use-age by their customer base such as a banking application. Apps are developed for specific devices (e.g. iPhone, iPad, Android, Blackberry, etc.) so you would need to pay a developer to build and maintain separate apps for each device. A single mobile-optimized website, on the other hand, is compatible with many devices. Mobile Applications are extremely expensive and most businesses do not need them.

15. I already have a website. Why is it so important to have a mobile website?

According to Technology Giants such as Google, Vocus and others, as of 2015, more consumers will be searching for businesses, products and services on their smartphones than on their PC’s. With over 4 billion mobile devices in use worldwide versus 1 billion PC’s, you must adjust your thinking about who you need to cater your online messages to. Standard websites are not created to display properly on mobile devices… as a matter of fact, they display so poorly due to a user having to scroll left, right, up, down, stretch and pinch the screen etc., that most users will typically leave that type of site in 3 seconds or less because of a poor experience. Google also recently published an article in Forbes magazine entitled "No Mobile Website = Lost Customers."
A properly created mobile website is designed to be read and navigated with just the use of your thumb… scroll up and down and large easy to read and press navigation buttons for simple quick actions such as – “click-to-call”, “click-to-email”, “click-to-map” and more. A simple click of a button will bring up a map and GPS function on the mobile device to even walk a customer right up to your business's door step. A standard PC site will never be able to do any of those functions for a mobile user that easily.

16. How are mobile websites different than regular websites?

Most desktop websites were not designed to be used on the smaller screens of mobile phones or tablets. The text on the screen can be too small, images can be too large, navigation menus aren't designed to be used with a finger, Flash animation and Flash videos simply won’t work on some devices, and the list goes on and on. Mobile websites are specifically built to render correctly (or "look right") on a mobile device. Because of small screen size, users are immediately guided to one-click content via a design that's suited to the most likely needs of someone using a mobile device. For example, users can use the 'call us' feature to dial up with your business with one touch; the 'find us' feature to access to a Google map to locate you and get directions using GPS; plus one touch to view your menu, hours, special, dress code; access a reservation system; send you an email; view a gallery of photos; see specials or events; connect via social media; and more – all straightforward and simple without all the design and trappings involved in a regular website. This is the most important point to understand about a mobile website: It exists solely to present as much information as possible right at the user's fingertips from anywhere

17. Do you guys also build regular conventional websites?

Great question. Yes we do and what sets us apart is that each conventional website we build is fully responsive or is optimized for all devices (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, etc) so those visitors will be going to your regular website but it will look better because the site will recognize the browser the visitor is using and automatically tailor the site to render properly in their browser window. The advantage here is a more consistent user experience with your brand. Example site is a fully responsive optimized site. (fill in example)

18. Will this replace my regular website or will it be in addition to my regular website?

No. A mobile website is designed to work in tandem with your main website. Our mobile sites allow you to reach your potential mobile audience with fast and easy information on the go, something your regular website likely cannot do in an efficient or effective manner. Consider your existing website the "unabridged" version of your business, presenting a detailed, comprehensive look at your business with all the graphic design and web bells and whistles needed to achieve an internet "brand identity" for your company. A mobile website is more like "Cliff's notes," a shorthand view of your business with immediate access to what matters most when on the go. The two sites are complimentary, but they provide different experiences that are each appropriate for the context in which they are viewed and the device on which they are to be seen.

19. What are the overall benefits to customers and to my business?

Two major reason’s search and usability.
SEARCH - Per Google’s recent announcement an important reason besides the research on usability of non-mobile friendly sites which should be reason enough is that your mobile search keyword rankings could completely disappear and over 50% of searches are now done on the phone.
USABILITY – Studies show that users who access a regular website on a mobile device quickly become frustrated by how much time and data is required to load and view the site and how difficult it can be to find the information they need, and they abandon these sites quickly and are unlikely to return. And their reaction? Immediately look for another business with a more mobile-friendly site. With a custom mobile site, those customers are looking for mobile-friendly sites and you're the beneficiary.

20.    Does a mobile site help increase my site's visibility in search engines?

UPDATED ANSWER – YES! As opposed to not having a mobile friendly site. Google made a decree on April 21st that if you don’t have a mobile friendly site your mobile search rankings would be significantly impacted.
Our mobile sites are built using "best practice" recommendations found in Google's Search Engine Optimization Guide. That means we will use relevant keywords to describe your business – which assists search engines in determining a site's relevance based on a user's search request – as well as targeted page titles and descriptions, an optimized site map and site structure for ease of navigation. Links to social network sites will also be helpful in improving your visibility to search engines.

21. How will customers find my mobile site?

The same way they find you now. However, after you get your mobile site operational, when a shopper finds your main website using a mobile device, our redirect code will detect they are on a mobile device and will automatically and seamlessly send them to your new mobile site. You may also want to take additional steps to create additional traffic to your website using some of our cutting edge digital marketing strategies such as SEM, SEO, Local Business Listings, and Social Media.

22.   Will I have to update my mobile website separately from my main website?

No, when you make updates to your website, the updates will appear on your mobile website too.
The mobile sites we develop are built on a revolutionary, cutting edge framework built to meet today's demands, keeping your site and your business from ever becoming obsolete!

23. Do you also build full-sized websites?

Yes! Visit our parent site, tntmd.com.

24. Do I need a regular website to also have a mobile website? What if I don’t have a regular website?

Not a problem! We can create a stand-alone custom mobile website using one of our mobile website templates. If you don’t have a main website we can also create a new beautiful main website with either a responsive mobile site or an optimized mobile site in tandem. A quick chat with our office could help you decide which direction would be best for your business.

25. Do you handle Flash?

Nope. Flash is dead for mobile. Run away!

26. Can you make an e-commerce mobile site?

Yes and no. We can utilize the Paypal integrations for a mobile site or we could build you fully responsive e-commerce site that will look good on any device with a shopping cart and payment gateway.

27. Can the mobile site handle e-commerce transactions?

Our standard Mobile Sites can handle PayPal and Google Checkout buttons for payment gateways. For full e-commerce functionality, a custom mobile website would have to be built in order to handle credit card payments and security. This form of mobile site takes much longer to build and is more expensive due to the amount of development, and testing required to keep the site secure.

28. How many mobile site visits can the site handle?

We leverage some of the most advanced technology to ensure scalability and fast response even in the moments of extremely high traffic.

29. Will there be a limited number of visits allowed to my mobile site?

NO! Because of the robust hosting capabilities of our mobile sites, anytime anyone views your website address on a mobile device, the mobile site will be displayed with no limitations.

30. How much content can the mobile site contain?

While there is technically no limit to the amount of content that can be on your mobile website, the site is for mobile users seeking limited information only, so we recommend keeping content to only what is necessary for the visitor to move towards action.

31. Are you a hosted service?

Yes, we are a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company – which means you'll never have to buy, maintain or upgrade the software your mobile site runs on.

32. How long is technical support available?

As long as your mobile site is live with our company, you have unlimited technical support. Just email us at support@tntmobilemarketing.com or call us at 866-589-9201 for any technical support issue and someone will get back to you typically within 24 hours.

33. Can I transfer the hosting of my mobile site to a different hosting company?

Unfortunately no. Because of our constant auto syncing the site needs to be hosted on our servers so we can perform the auto sync functions continually to keep your main site and your mobile site in sync with each other and to make sure that the technology is constantly updated to flawlessly display your site on ANY mobile device.

34. Can I use more than one phone number (e.g. landline and cell phone) on the 'Call Us' link?

You can only use one primary phone number in the actual click to call link. We recommend you use a unique number to measure mobile web response and publish your main phone number on the site for consistency. We have an enterprise level unique call tracking system with phone numbers available for lease or purchase that send you email notifications and call recording of each phone call and a ton of other stuff. If you are interested in learning more about call tracking please visit tntmd.com/call-tracking

35. Will my Mobile Site work on all mobile devices?

YES! Because of our cloud based technology, your website will render beautifully on ALL mobile devices available now and in the future!
36. What browsers, phone types and cellular services are supported?

We leverages technology to adapt your mobile site dynamically to the specific phone in the hand of your visitor. From high-end touch-screen devices to lower-end phones, we guarantee the best possible mobile experience to all your mobile customers.
